Higher standards of surgical care. Like every anesthesia procedure at Caring Ways, all surgical procedures are managed closely by our certified and licensed veterinary technician for your pet’s safety so you know your pet will receive the highest level of care before, during and after their procedure. Caring Ways offers surgeries for spay and neutering and soft tissue surgeries such as mass removals and wound repairs. We work closely with several specialty surgical centers for when your pet needs a more specialized procedure.

All patients require pre-anesthetic blood work prior to anesthesia and older or immune-compromised patients may require additional diagnostics to ensure their safety and well-being during the procedure.

Prior to the day of the surgical procedure, you will have received an email with your pre-surgery instructions and the treatment plan, outlining the costs of the procedure. You will have private check-in on the morning of your appointment to review the paperwork and answer any last-minute questions you may have.

We provide careful observation before, during, and after surgery, including warm blankets and a quiet, peaceful place for recovery. Pain management is an integral part of the surgical plan and will be discussed with you so that your pet can recover with as minimal pain as possible.

After your pet’s procedure, your Caring Ways Team spends time reviewing after care instructions and follow up appointments.
